KEY FEATURES OF THE CTS PROFICIENCY TESTING (PT) PROGRAM:

• Approved by the CMS, the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA), and CAP.
• Meets CMS (CLIA '88) and California state requirements for Blood Gas (pH, pCO2 and pO2), Electrolytes+ (CL-, K+ and Na+, glucose), Co-Oximetry (total Hb) PT, and hematocrit.
• Access to expert reference lab technicians for telephone/email consultation and one-on-one assistance.
• Computerized statistical analyses and inter-laboratory comparison with peers, using CLIA ’88 scoring criteria and evaluation processes.
